Santa took over the city on Saturday with Santacon/Santarchy 2008. We all picked up our Santa costumes at Walgreen's (a big $14.99) earlier in the week. Saturday morning we all met at my place to get dressed in our big red suits and headed over to Ross's place for peppermint schopps/shots. At 11:30 we all met up at Pier 39 for some HO HO HO with our fellow Santas. The Pier 39 rent-a-cops were real up tight about everyone boozin' and poured out some of our beer, but no worries, we had plenty more. The first stop was Hooters where Santa ate wings and drank pitchers. Next it was off to Kennedy's & International Sports Bar for more pitchers and window shenanigans and then O'Reilys for Irish car bombs. That's where we lost the group and proceeded to go on a Chinatown bar crawl to Mr. Bings, Bow Bow Lounge, Grasslands, Red's Place and Buddha Bar before calling it a night after a long day. Santacon was great for the second year and we'll definitely be going next year!

Get ready for tomorrow because the bad boys and girls are partying in the streets of San Francisco. Santa just announced his HO HO HO Here We Go starting times and locations. This year there are 3 routes all starting at 11:30AM in separate locations which will converge with the Oakland Santas somewhere down in Soma. This year also promises to be the biggest SANTACON/SANTARCHY ever with numbers expected to be in the 1,000s.

We've decided to go on the Klassic Kringle route starting @ the Carousel in Pier 39. 11:30am sharp! The route is described as "Santa hits Fisherman's Wharf and other favorite hotspots (that will still have us). Suggested props: Signs (Elfcare for Everyone, Santas Demand More milk & Cookies, etc.) Celebrate Santa's many corporate friends & partners by displaying your favorite sponsor on your suit."

Here's the plan for tomorrow

10:15AM - Prebooze with the elves in the workshop. Hosted by Ross, his place is placed at Grant & Green (streetview). Plan to be over there for some peppermint schopps/shots and yuletide cheer . We will leave Ross's place around 11:15AM to go to Pier 39.

11:30AM - SANTA'S COMING, SANTA'S COMING! We meet up at the Carousel in Pier 39. The day begins, get your santarchy on as we bust through the city stopping at bars and spreading christmas cheer.

After this it's still a mystery, so we'll go where Santa takes us...

What you'll need for tomorrow

Santa Costume - It can be of any shape and size, but it must be Santa or Christmas related (last year there were raindeer and Jewish santas) Oh and good walking shoes too because Santa needs to shed some pounds for Mrs. Claus.

Beer/Whiskey - Santa likes to brown bag , it's no secret in the North Pole. Bring some of your favorite beer, whiskey, peppermint schopps to keep Santa warm.

Money/ID - Santa plans on spending some money on hookers when we reach the Loin. Be sure to bring some $$$ and your ID!

Backpack - Holds your beer and other shit. Can be used as a flotation device in the event of a water landing.

Umbrella - In case it rains, Santa hates being wet. Maybe bring an umbrella .

Halloween was at Lou's on the Square in North Beach, where Chrissy and a bunch of her friends had rented out the place for a private party. Everyone of course wore costumes; Steve was a penguin, Davy was a caveman, JD was a chauffeur, Amy was a gangster, Chrissy was a German beer maid and I was a German in lederhosen. It was so much fun to party with everyone and the cheap beer, shots and well drinks all made for a great night!

Davy & Steve and I went to the Treasure Island Music Festival, started taking shots of wine and dancing with these alien looking creatures. Steve's friend Sean even got us into VIP. What a weekend! We saw the following...

Justice was great as usually, but Hot Chip has the best set. CSS headlined the small stage and got everyone going.

Ben's 25th Birthday!

Benjammin turned 25 and we celebrated in style with a 12 hour drink-a-thon which included drinking games, listening to dance music, coked out weirdos who like to steal sweaters, lesbian trannies and Double Dutch. Any time lesbian trannies are involved it's going to be a good night because your guaranteed at least one good story next morning. Last night at Delirium this crazy ~~guy~~ started dancing in fishnet stockings and a really short skirt. Dana went up to him and asked if she'd would do something crazy for Ben as it was his birthday. She replied "I'm a lesbian, I don't do guys!"

Captain Scott's Bachelor Party

Captain Scott and Brandon came into town this weekend to celebrate Scott's bachelor party. Scott's marrying Stefanie in Froettstaedt, Germany come this September and Brandon, Chrissy & myself are all going.

The first night in the city we spent working on our joweling skills and then headed out to the mission stopping by Delirium & Casanova with Davy.

A little hungover the next day, we started Scott's bachelor party in style with breakfast at Mama's. About half way through our wait in the long line of tourists, we had a San Francisco star sighting when Kate Hudson & Lance Armstrong got out of a cab to wait in line as well. It didn't take them very long to realize the wait was like an hour and a half, so they took off, but it was still crazy to see them. After breakfast we began the party with indoor skydiving at iFly. Ended up flying for a total of 2 minutes, going about 100 MPH and falling a total of 1.6 miles. Watch the video below to the tune of Pogo by Digitalism.

Geeked up on the high of flying we headed back to the city and walked up Embarcadero over to Pier 39, the wharf and then started drinking on my roof. Davy, Jeff, Amy, Sonya, Chrissy, Kellen and Sean came over and Scott started taking his first shots. It wasn't long before we were buzzed and off to La Rocca's. A jager shot and a beer later we we're off too Maggie McGarrys where everyone started dancing. The jager shots kept coming and Scott kept making funnier and funnier faces. The next day we got all the tourist stuff done like walking up Lombard, seeing Ghirardelli Square and the Golden Gate. We all forgot to wear sunscreen and ended up paying for it the next couple days with blisters.

Sister Molly of ΣΔΤ and Brother Patrick of ΜΣ attended the Tappa Mega Kegga Party hosted by the brothers of ΡΑΔ, or ‘Rad’ for short. It was an old school house party complete with keg beer, around-the-world and beer pong. There was plenty of beer bongs and keg stands.

Wow, thatls all I have to say. Just kidding. Vegas was amazing and I definitely suggest going at least once in your life. The money in your wallet become like Monopoly money and you just want to give it away. I hit the Video Poker hard, which was my game of choice. After the first day, I was good enough to be able to sit down at a machine and play for a good couple hours without being in the hole big time. What does that mean? Free drinks! Dizzle, The Thief, Bullet and G-money spread their money around a little bit more than me. Dizzle discovered Craps which he said was everyone ganging up to beat the house. The Thief also discovered Craps and it became his game of choice. He would play the table and hit on other player's girlfriends. Bullet tried Black Jack, but that game goes quick. He fared well, but before long he was out. Bullet liked the Roulette and on more than one occasion made bets of $50 just to try to get even. It worked to an extent. G-money played Craps and Roulette and did well with both. He also played the slots and kicked my ass. He was getting the winning spins every time. The hotels in Vegas are awesome. There is a big difference between downtown and the style of hotels/gambling and the strip and their hotels/gambling. The world's biggest big screen TV on Fremont Street is really cool. I can't believe it's all those little LEDs. Fremont was also cool because the games were slower and the seemed to be more relaxed. The strip was always busy with people just all over the place. The games down there seem to payout more and they have no problem serving drinks to you if you?re gambling. One night we went to the Hard Rock. It was exactly what I was expecting because we only saw the casino floor. However, we all sat down and started playing Video Poker. Before long I was up pretty big and cashed out. I bought Bullet and I CIGARS. We were standing in the bar which is in the middle of the casino when ZZ Top walks in. That was cool. Well, I'm sure you want to know if we won at all? Bullet, Dizzle, G-Money and The Thief all did well one night with the craps. G-Money and The Thief cleaned out the Baby Roulette game. I won a jackpot on the Baby Big Wheel (40 to 1). That's all I can remember right now, but there are many more stories.
