This weekend I got a chance to go and check out San Francisco Fleet Week and The Red Bull Air Race. The whole show was down in front of the Marina and Ft. Mason and the jets were flying right about my place, so I got some shots from my roof. Then I headed down near Ghirardelli Square for a closer look and got to see the Red Bull Air Race. It's a race where planes flew between inflatable barriers in the middle of the bay on a set track to see who had the fastest time. Check out this video...

Those guys were moving. I called my friend Captain Scott and he had watched it the day before on their live web cast. He's going to try and come out next year to see the race. Then the Blue Angels came out and did their thing. Of course that's what the crowd wanted to and everyone was going crazy when they were doing their thing. I got a BBQ pork stick which was really good, then I got some steamed mussels and that's where the trouble started. I was up all last night with food poisoning which was not a pretty site. Anyway, I'll be going back next year, just no more mussels.
